JUSTICEWORKS’ LEGACY ENDOWMENT FUND

to preserve community justice initiatives in our communities

The  Justice Legacy Fund of the Community Foundation of Portage County  provides an ongoing administrative support structure to keep community justice programs in existence. The programs create right relationships with victims, offenders and the community through:

• Restorative Justice
  • Victim Restitution Mediation Services
  • Restorative Youth Conferencing
  • Victim-Offender Conferencing services
  • Social Justice
    • Martin Luther King Jr. Community Recognition Event
    • Symposiums, National Law Day, and Coffee and  Conversation educational forums
  • Equal Justice
    • Family Law Information Center
  • Rehabilitation and Justice
    • Mentoring programs for offenders
    • Reentry Support
    • Alcohol and Drug  Abuse Prevention Projects/ Alcohol and Drug Free Housing

The endowment is the property of the Community Foundation. No funds will be expended until the endowment is completely funded. Only the interest from the fund will be available for administrative support or services of Justiceworks. In the event Justiceworks ceases to exist, the fund would be available to the Community Foundation to fund other justice related needs. All donations are tax deductible under sec. 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue.

Justice Legacy Endowment Gifts may be made by:

1. Mailing a check  to Justiceworks, Ltd., 1547 Strongs Avenue, Suite D, Stevens Point, WI  54481
2. Donating by credit card online through the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin, our paypal account; or,
3. By   creating an endowment fund specific to your interest area and philanthropic goal. The funds are carefully managed by the Community Foundation of Portage County with interest income invested to support permanent growth. In this way, your charitable contribution will continue to grow in perpetuity for the purpose of benefiting others.
