Stuart Stotts, award winning singer, author and storyteller was our guest presenter for the 2017 celebration. Stuart spoke on the influence of music on the civil rights movement and the history of particular songs including the iconic “We Shall Overcome”. The evening included music from the Pacelli High School Concert Choir Starting our evening with the National Anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and concluded the night with stirring renditions of “Inscription of Hope” and “River in Judea”. The event also included the presentation of the Justiceworks’ John Klismet Volunteer Award to Tiffani Krueger, co-founder of Evergreen Community Initiatives.
With mixed emotion we regret to inform our supporters that Justiceworks will no longer be hosting the JustRun 5K/Half-Marathon event.
With the saturation of other quality events and the increased expenses associated with facilitating JustRun, it is in our best interest to pursue other avenues of fundraising.
The entire Justiceworks organization greatly appreciates the incredible volunteer efforts and sponsorships that have gone into supporting this event year after year. Without your support JustRun would never have become a premier family-friendly event in central Wisconsin.
THANK YOU! to all our 2016 sponsors, volunteers and participants.
The FINAL results of JustRun 2016 can be found here.
