Oxford House is a sustainable recovery concept for drug and alcohol addiction. Oxford House, Inc. is a non-profit national organization that supports democratically-run, self-supporting alcohol and drug free homes for those in recovery from addiction. Oxford House, Inc. has provided advisory support for the two charter houses in Stevens Point: The Riverside House for Men established in 2005 and the River Point House for Women, established in 2010.
The Riverside House and River Point House operate under Oxford House principles. The on-going operations of the Riverside and River Point Houses are sustained with help from a collaborative network of Oxford House residents, community volunteers, and local community agencies.
